| Bason |  Bason is Ren's loyal spirit, who is almost as powerful as Amidamaru. Bason proves his loyalty when Ren confronts his father En Tao to break the seal of hatred that has cursed his family. Alone, Ren is no match for his father, so to prevent his father from using Bason as a puppet, he commands him to leave before he is defeated. Bason unwillingly goes, and immediately seeks out Yoh and persuades him to help. Bason knows his master’s heart and can see the good in Ren at all times. |
